IMPORTANT: Your business must be set up to accept payments with Tint Wiz Pay to use terminals. Contact support to activate TintWizPay for your business.
TERMINAL SETUP
First, make sure your terminal is connected to the WiFi.
1- Turn on the terminal and wait until you see the welcome screen.
Swipe from bottom of the screen to top to make the ARROW icon show at the bottom:
2- Double Tap the ARROW icon at the bottom and enter password.
Default Password is: pax9876@@
3- Tap into SETTINGS app:
4- Select NETWORK AND INTERNET:
5- Connect to your WiFi and make sure it shows "Connected"
Once your terminal is connected to the WiFi, you can proceed to activate it from Tint Wiz.
HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR TERMINAL FROM TINT WIZ
1- Click Settings from top right menu:
2- Click “Tint Wiz Pay”
3- Click “Go to TintWizPay Pulse”
TintWizPay Pulse is a powerful dashboard where you can activate terminals, access to advanced transaction reports and manage your transactions:
4- In Pulse select “Terminals” tab and click “Activate Terminal”
5- Enter terminal S/N and a name for the terminal and click “Activate”
You can find the terminal serial NO at the bottom of your terminal.
6- Go to Tint Wiz and create a test project. On the test project, scroll to invoice section and click “charge a deposit with terminal”
7- You should see the terminal screen. Enter a deposit amount and make sure your terminal is selected, click charge button. Your terminal should light up.
Note: If you experience any errors at this step, check the troubleshooting section at the bottom of this guide.
You can cancel the charge from the terminal and discard the test project.
You can access the terminal from your projects to charge project deposits, proposal deposits and invoice payments. Terminal page will list existing payments for the project.
9- When charging cards for invoices, you can select a tip amount to add to the invoice balance.
Troubleshooting
When you attempt the test charge, if you receive 2009 - TRANSACTION NOT COMPLETE - PSCS parameters are invalid error at this stage, open "DC Direct" app on the terminal and tap Get Parameters button. Once the terminal gets updated and reboots, it will be ready to use.
